User Groups
User groups are created by registered members.  User groups must follow these guidelines:
  • Groups must not duplicate existing groups on this website nor should similar groups be created for the sole purpose of being the group leader.  All groups are reviewed as they are created and new groups that are similar to existing groups will be inactivated.
  • Groups may be professional military groups such as specific organizations, past or present; or personal groups such as groups devoted to gamers or sports enthusiasts.  When creating the group, it should appeal to the website membership, not visitors who don't qualify to be a part of the website.
  • When groups are created, a private discussion forum and a photo gallery is established for use by group member's only.
  • The member creating the group is designated the group leader.
  • The group leader is responsible for ensuring posted group content abides by the terms of use for the entire website.
  • Group leaders manage membership for the group.  Membership is open to registered website members by one of two methods:
    • All registered members can join the group (No approval required).
    • Registered members can join the group with approval only.
  • The group leader decides on which membership method to use.
  • If membership is by approval, the group leader is reponsible for reviewing and approving membership requests.  Approval is based only on the member's qualifications to join the group.  If a group leader uses personal bias when approving/rejecting a membership request, the group will be inactivated.
  • If a group member violates the terms of use for the group or the website, their membership will be revoked.
