Wes, hello, have you heard from Pete? He should be somewhere in Cal.
Drop me a line, my email address is: gthomas995@aol.com

Hey there "T" , Spanky, John, Wes ... Jeff Doerning here, or "Bacon" as some used to call me... wow, this is great! ... George, tell Stevie-B and Tiny hello for me, are they in NY now or Italy? or maybe both? I talk to Ken Goodin on a regular basis; he is living in Jacksonville, FL and working for the railroad ... lol ... you believe that? The world’s great cable splicer (his words) working for the railroad, lol. I ran into him on Elmendorf in 2004 when I was working for a contractor there and he was doing goverment contract work for the USAF in the cable shop. We hung out for most of that summer, drank a lot of beers and had a lot of fun before he had to head home. Now he rides rails up and down the east coast all day long - actually sounds like a sweet deal to me. Anyway, I just found this forum tonight but I will pass it along to him and he can get on here and say hello in his own words, I am sure some of you would enjoy hearing from Ken. Have not talked to Mike "Chico" Graves in several years now ... but last I did talk to him he was staying put, like was posted above. Never heard from Dunham after Greece, I heard that maybe he was booted so maybe that is where Spank's confusion is at.

So Anyway Spank, No I did not get kicked out after leaving Greece, I went to Sac-Town and the 1849th with Chico. From there I went to the 3rd Comm Group at Elmendorf where I separated at the end of 1995. Been in Alaska ever since and I don't usually leave unless I am going to the PI or Daytona for vacation. Any of you drop me a line if you can and if not have an Ouzo on me! It is nice to see some folks that I know and even if it has been a while since you were all here ... maybe you will check in and see my post.

I belive Chuck is either in prison by now for some sort of fraud/scam or he may have possibly changed his name to Timothy Geithner in the late 90's and is now running the Federal Reserve ... either way it would fit ... lol.

... And as 'ol Ed used to say ... "Here is to the breezes that blows through the trees’s and lifts girls skirts above their kneez’s, reveals the spot that teases and pleases and gives all of the guys at Bobby’s diseases! Oh Jesus ….

Cheers,
Bacon

Hi John,

It's great hearing from you.

I'm in Frisco Tx, just 20 miles north of Dallas. I retired out of Tinker then moved to Frisco 2 years ago. If you're ever in the area come by and see me.

Tell the family I said hello.

Best Regards

How long did you get to stay in Crete? I was on vacation there in 04 and it was completely different. The only place left is Kólpos Soúdhas (Suda Bay)

Hay 'T' Where did you finally land and put down roots?
javajunkie Posted - February 25 2009 : 10:11:51
Hey Wes;
How you doing my friend. And yes I remember you well.

So Where did you go after Greece?

Any of you guys ever get a chance to go back? Believe it or not I have been back quite a few times. Planning a trip this summer with the wife and kids. Place sure has changed. #915;#955;#965;#966;#940;#948;#945; (Glyfada) sure has changed also. Can you believe that they have a Dunkin' Donuts, Burger King, Piza Hut... Don't know if Flanagan's is still there but I'll find out in June :)

Talk to you soon.

What the hell? Everyone is coming out of the woodwork Good to hear you guys are still around and kickin'!

Ed settled down, got married and is living in Chicago. Fred retired a Chief and is living in South Carolina. The last time I seen Curtis, he was stationed at Kelly and TDY to Barksdale around '93 or so. I always wondered what happened to that crazy fool! "Chico" Graves retired out of McClelland and stayed in the area, it's been YEARS since I last talked to him. I heard Doerning got kicked out shortly after he left Greece, not sure if it's true or not.

What up Wes? Ole Brian P and I still talk about your crazy ass What have you been up to? The last I talked to you, you were at Scott. George, where did you end up? Shoot me an email when you guys get a chance: Elvin.Sprankle.ctr@Eielson.AF.Mil

Later fellas....

Hi guys, this is George Thomas, NCOIC of the CAT Team (87-91). It’s great hearing from some of the guys I worked with at the 2140th. CG.

Don't know if you remember me or not...I was at Hellenikon from 1986 to 1990. It's Wes Stover, I was your NCOIC for a period of time. Glad to see you stuck around and made a career of it. I've kept in touch with a few from that period, but most were prior to your arrival. That is except Sprankle.

Hey ya John, I was there from '89-'91. I was the last CAT member to leave. I was one of the lucky one's that moved just down the road to Iraklion

I just talked to ole "Big" Ed Bidrowski and Fred Roberto a couple of months back. I hear from Ridley every blue moon. Ran into Stewart while I was TDY to Spang or the Netherlands around '03.
