I just got my assignment to Lackland, can anyone tell me about living in the San Antonio area? like wheres a good place to live, whats good there, whats not, what kind of shop it is, anything would be appreciated, thanks alot dawgs,

Im going to the 543 Support Squadron for the AF ISR Agency...sounds interesting i guess. Im from East Texas so im really glad to be moving closer to home. Anyone here in the 543 by any chance? I've heard nothing but great things about living in SA. Im pretty excited. |

I've been in SA for almost 8 years, so that should tell you what I think of it. Of course I'm not base comm, so that might make a big difference. |

as far as i know the cable shop on lackland, i've been on leave, so i havent had access to the portal to look. i know there are a couple different shops there, so that could be interesting. |
