Posted - August 30 2008 : 15:28:10 I've heard rumors that Hill AFB has contracted out their communications squadron. Does anyone know if this is true? |

Posted - June 23 2010 : 17:27:52 I just PCS'd from there and there is no way it will ever go contract. If anything it will all be civil service. They are merging with the network shop, just like the rest of the AF. Slowly but surely. They do deploy a lot out of there, but that's mostly because there's still a lot of military. That won't change for a long time either. Hill will always have a large military shop. |

Posted - February 25 2010 : 10:28:44 Just talked to marcus. The phone shop is merging with data networks. I was up there visiting about 4 months ago, and all (I think 5) enlisted were being deployed, leaving only the civilians in the shop.

Posted - December 17 2008 : 14:25:59 Hill is not contracted and probably won't be for quite some time. We still have anywhere from 20-25 military all the time. |

Posted - September 03 2008 : 18:34:44 I PCS'd a year ago from Hill and that was word going around the shop. However, There are still postings on AMS for Hill slots.
