Wire Dawg by God!

Not just and E&I chant, we did it all the time at Ramstein. Sometimes a few times in a row depending on how many "sodas" we had

alvaradop, you're spot on!

How long have been at Langley and out of the 85EIS (738)?

And, yes, this has been an EI chant for decades - the DAWGs may have swiped it and switched some words around, but that doesn't dismiss its orginal heritage.

Markel, out...

I don't know about the rest of you guys but when I was in E & I we were always too hammered to remember the words.

Hey Wingnut, did two tours at Keesler (84-87) and (90-95) in Antenna Construction. Went to Langley after they shut down EI workload at Tinker in 99 and retired out of Langley in Aug 03. Sure do miss the "good old days". Some things just don't leave your blood.

Pete, do you remember Wayne Raphel (MSgt <ret> - 485EIS, 38EIS, 1FW/CS)? I took over the TC Academy from him in 99.

And, I'm pretty sure that following his excellent service out there at the 38EIW, he went to run the cable shop at Langley...

I have an EI Team Chief coin I want to give him. Lord knows he earned it.

Thanks!

Kevin

Wingnut,
Yes I know Wayne. Knew him at the 38th and of course at Langley. Last I saw him was in 03, he was working with General Dynamics doing the CITS work. Don't know if he's still there, but there are many of us old E&I types with GD.

Pete, if you bump into him, tell him Markel is looking for him. I'll do some of my own digging too.

What ever happened to Alex Pena after the 38MSS? I thought he went to the Herd, but that was the last tidbit I had.

After 60 years of AACS, GEEIA, AFCC, etc - we finally had an EI Team Chief coin designed and pressed. They're really nice. What I like most about them is the fact that we designed them to be for any EI Team Chief at any time in our history. It doesn't matter when you were in EI, the coin has the entire heritage running through it. Even has the old AFCC motto on it, "Providing the Reins of Comand". Man, I miss the old days...

I should have known it was going to go downhill when they changed PIS to PSS... LOL
