Anyone at McClellan AFB 1849th 88-92 or so?

I have seen some posts for Lindsey AFB and the 1836th but i know many folks ended up going to McClellan AFB after their time at Lindsey. Give a shout out if you know of anyone that was at McClellan or in the 1849th later 80's and early 90's.

Peace.

Bobby Thornton

Yes, I was there from late 86 through to summer 87 when I seperated and moved to the 215th EIS National Guard unit in Everett Washington.

I just moved back to Everett this year after spending 3 years in Wichita Kansas. I talk once or twice a year with Moose. Each time we speak it leads to the age old question: "What ever happen to Marvin Turner?"

I hear he is in the south east some place. Marvin! drop us a line.

Hi Bob,

I was the Outside plant and then Cable Installations Superintendent at the 49th from 1988 until 1992 when I retired. Lt. Bythrow was the Wire Branch Chief.

Do you know the whereabouts of Willie B. Keys - he was one ofthe Cable Flight Supervisors there.

I was down at the 1835 EIS (Norton AFB) prior to moving to McClellan AFB. I was the Chief of QA and then the Supt. of Cable Installations at Norton from1985 - 1988

Hey Bobby,
I was there from 89 to 96. I'm know stationed at Keesler with the 85th EIS. I found Karen DeJong at Barksdale on one of my TDY's there.
