Hi and I want to put a hello out for any 1837EIS

I ran across this forum looking for a source to replace my cabledawg coin. 1st I have to say I was amazed and suprise that this even existed. Even more amazed when I saw a few faces from my Osan and Kunsan TDYs days. Any 1837 guys or gals still around and those that where back around the mid 80s to mid 90s? Yokota, Osan or Clark ?

Hey Felix, nice to hear from you.

I still keep in touch with some 1837th folks, all over.

I am a telephone guy on Lackland now, civil service.

I was stationed in the cable shop at Yokota from 82 - 85. Miss those TDY's!

Anyone know how to get in touch with Eddie Reynolds?

Hey there Ken,

I don't know if I ever met you. You said you were with the 1837th EIS at Norton AFB in the mid 80's? Do you remember CMSGT Cronan? I thought it was the 1835th, however, I guess I really didn't pay much attention!

However, I am Chief's daughter, Dianne. Do you remember a guy named Paul Pellicano? Do you know where he is now? He hasn't submitted any entries on WireDawg since 2002. It's like he's fallen off of the face of the earth. I can't find him on any people searches. Hmmm...

Hope thiings are going well for you!

Dianne

Dianna

My Name is Bob Pervin and I work for you Dad for many years. You might remember me from Yokota. Skip Klinger and I were very good friends with your Dad. Your dad was at Norton and the unit was 1835EIS If you remember you were also at Griffiss AFB. That is where I met you father. How is your Mother doing? Visited with her at one of the GEEIA Reunion but have heard from her in a few years. If you are looking for any more information let me know.

Hey Rossi, I saw your photo update that the wire dawg sent out and almost had to laugh. You look the same in all of your photos

I even have a photo of you and me in a hole at Kunsan iirc with Brathwaite (sp?) if you remember him. I'll email you if I get a change here soon.

Hello Ken,
Bill Flynn here, I stumbled across this site a couple of years ago and was amazed at all the memories of people and places it brought back. Good hearing you're out there.

Hi all. I see a lot of names on here that I recognize.

Dianne, I sent and recieved emails with Jim a while back. I was never able to work directly with your dad as we were both Chief's No place had positions for two. I know that Bob really wanted to get back to Yokota when I rotated. I extended a couple times so he took the job at Clark. I hope that this finds you and yopurs all doing well.

My wife Kyoko and I are doing great here in Tachikawa.

Maybe I will see some of you at the reunion.

Roy Finuf.

Hey Bob!

I can't place the face, but I remember your name. If I saw a picture of you, I'd probably recognize you. It's been so long that the names and faces run together at times!

My mother is doing well. We live in Arlington, Texas. Home of the Texas Rangers and soon-to-be Dallas Cowboys (the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium will be ready sometime in 2009). My mother lives with my brother Jim. I live about 5 minutes up the street from her. I moved here from Columbus, OH after my dad passed away to be with my mother.

My brother Bob is a CMSgt in the USAF. He has I think about 22, 23 years in the service? He is stationed at Ellis AFB in SD. Baby brother John is a Marketing Director in Utah. Both are married with children. I am married with two teen boys.

Great to hear from you, Bob! Feel free to email me anytime @ LadyDi739@yahoo.com

Hi Gus!

Great to hear from you! I'm not sure I remember you but it's always GREAT to hear from people who knew my Dad. I wish he was still here.

I will give my mom your message!

Hope things are going well for you!

Hi Roy,

Thanks for your message! I don't think I remember you but like I told Gus, it's always GREAT to hear from people who knew or worked with my Dad. Those were great times at Norton AFB. Probably one of the greatest times of my life.

Thanks for your well wishes. Things are going beautifully for us here in muggy Texas!

Hope things are going as well for you, too!

Thanks, again!
