SrA Eda Mae Sims

I think it is important to inform some of the closer Wiredawgs who worked with SrA Eda Mae Sims of recent events. On Monday, July 25th, Eda was driving back from Verona, Italy after a weekend trip with 5 friends. Specific details are unknown about the situation, but the car she was driving crashed into a guardrail and flipped several times. The 5 passengers were not severely injured, but tragically Eda Mae Sims lost her life. I hope all of you can take a few moments and remember her. Her memorial will be held later this week; any photos or ideas on how to best remember her can be sent to me. It just goes to show how short life can be, so live yours up and don’t forget about hers. She held assignments at Andrews AFB, Kunsan AB, and Aviano AB, Italy.

I would like to give my deepest heartfelt sympathy to the Sims family for their loss. I was once her supervisor while she was at Andrews AFB. The one thing that I remember most about her was her LOUD and crazy laugh. This is shocking news to me. We all know that life can be short, so live while you can. She will never be forgotten.
