I'm sorry to say that Herman (ZAG) passed away around Christmas of 1990. I was stationed with him at Norton (82-87) and was in Turkey (87-89) at time different bases. Herman spent a great deal on time a my house both in the states and in Turkey, during leave and most Holiday.

When he returned to the states in 1990 we keep in touch by phone and letters. The Christmas of 1990 we received our card back from his parents with a letter telling us that Herman had passed away.

He was a very close friend to me and my family and we miss him dearly.

Sorry to hear that. i had heard rumors but wasn't sure. I was stationed with Zagg at Norton from 83-87. We were roomates for a couple years, he was a heck of a nice guy. I was into cars and remember Herman buying his Z24, his 78 vette and his 53 Chevy. we didn't go TDY together much, he was antenna, i was cable, but he was a great roomate!! Thanks for filling me in, wish it was better news, take care , Curt.
