Job Description

Provide technical support to US Army customers, field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex computer systems. Develop and maintain Oracle enterprise and protected DNS Golden Master software repository. Maintain extensive knowledge of current regulatory criteria, policies, procedures, principles, concepts, and techniques of information technology support.

Maintain extensive knowledge of project management principles and methods. Develop performance management management/measurement methods, tools, and techniques of systems testing and evaluation principles, methods, and tools. Maintain extensive knowledge of new and emerging information technologies and industry trends.


Required Skills

Working knowledge in the following Areas:

Oracle 9/10 and Solaris 8/10 software for the US Army’s Protected Domain Name System (PDNS).

Perform shell and Perl scripting to automate data gathering task. Install and configure enterprise-level Oracle database servers and Solaris based domain Name servers.

Quality Assurance engineering practices for Oracle and Solaris enterprise-level systems. Perform architecture design for the US Army PDNS infrastructure which includes LAN/WAN and Internet domain name resolution/IP schemas.

Monitor and audit the US Army’s TCP/IP address scheme across the enterprise network. Write detailed and accurate technical notes, white papers, and test engineering reports.


Required Experience: Must be able to obtain or hold a Secret DOD Security Clearance. Candidate must have a 4 year Engineering Degree/BS
