Nortel SL-100 Switch Technician - Kuwait

The Nortel Switch Technician must be completely capable of maintaining the Nortel MSL-100 / SL-100, DMS-100 or DMS-500 and ancillary equipment. This is including, but not limited to, fault isolation, circuit pack replacement, Servord, line testing, complex routing and trunk translations, transmission testing, network troubleshooting, ACD, voicemail, and more.

This is working on a US Military base and will require that the candidates pass a background check and capable of obtaining and holding a Secret Clearance. Must be a US Citizen.

Job Responsibilities

* Daily SL100, MSL-100, DMS-100, or DMS-500 Maintenance and Administration
* Technical Support to end-users as needed
* Preventative Maintenance and Patch Applications
* Servord and Translations as needed

Job Qualifications

* SL-100, MSL-100, DMS-500, or DMS-100 Maintenance and Administration mandatory requirement (certification)
* DMS Supernode / XA-CORE Processor Maintenance
* Enhanced Network (ENET) Maintenance and Administration
* MSL-100 MDC Translations
* MSL-100 Operational Measurements
* Optivity Telephony Manager (OTM)
* IP Background a plus
