Rick Brittons Wife Cheryl has passed.
Fellow Dawgs,
MSgt (Ret) Rick Britton of San Antonio has lost his wife Cheryl on Jan 3 2007, after several long battles with various aliments.
Rick has shared many stories about Cheryl and she was a truly a remarkable person, you could hear the pride in Rick’s voice whenever he spoke of her. Rick spent many of long hours tending to Cheryl’s needs over the past few years and the Love and Dedication he has shown to his wife was truly inspirational.
Rick is a true friend and was a mentor to many of us, he taught me the value of a full days work, the satisfaction of doing a job well, and the valued lesson that every man needs to learn, put your family's needs before your own.
I know in our tight-knit group, when one Dawg feels pain we all share that pain with him. That is what makes this group truly unique in today’s military environment.
Rick, I pray you and Sean will find peace with Cheryl’s passing and if there is anything you need, you but only have to ask.
Matthew 5:4
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
God be with you.
Peace
Bob Gump and Family
P.S.
Here is the Blog entry Rick kept on his wife's behalf. After you read it, go and tell your better half that you love and appreciate them, because we never know how long we have left together. You'll have to start at bottom of the page and read up.
