Position Summary

Under general direction provides highly complex engineering and/or analytical activities associated with one or more technical areas within the telecom function (such as, but not limited to, network design, engineering, implementation, or high level support.) The candidate must posses either an Associate Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or related Field, or the equivalent training and 4 to 8 years’ experience required. Preferred candidate must demonstrate experience working with health care organizations. Candidate should be a self starter and be able develop and implement initiatives matching the technology vision of the organization. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) required at a minimum, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred.
Additional Information

Park Nicollet is seeking an individual who has experience with the Nortel DMS-100, 250, 300, 500, or SL-100 product line. Experience with the Nortel CS2000, or CS2100 hybrid system a plus. Nortel CallPilot experience is also a plus. Cisco CCNA certification a plus, but not required. General understanding of Data Networks required. Park Nicollet is in the middle of an upgrade from the Brisc processor-based TDM system to a VoIP system. Rotating on-call required along with after-hours work for upgrades or outages. This position will be part of a team of Network Engineers.
