Wade,

I was there from May 86 to May of 90. I was on Mike Richards team for the first year Then on Lou Leeser's team for the rest of the time.

I know that Paul (Scrappy) Gagnon ended up at Hickam. I saw him their in 2000. Jerroll (Stan) Stanley is in St. Cloud MN. He wa in the 210 EIS Guard unit and retired a few years ago. We both work for Qwest and I talk to him about twice a year.

What happened to Adam Bell?

I was on Rick Belcastro's team from 88-90. I hear from him and Fio occasionally. I heard something bad happened to Ken Herrle. Anyone ever hear from Dave McCormick or Jeff Ratchford?

Mark,
Was Adam Bell married and had wife that also worked in the 1836th (inside plant, i think)? I could not remember Adam's last name as he was on my team although my memory is not to clear that far back. Also was Lou and older guy at the time kind small and skinny with a mustache that always like to grill out?

Does anyone have any photos of this time frame that we can start sharing? I will try to go through my folders and see if i can't scan some to post.

I was TDY to Ogden for 6mos while I was in the 1849th and I loved that area and almost went to the reserve unit there as well once i departed. We did a very large fiber ring installation near the back gate towards the hangers if I am correct. I was there with Mike Graves from the 1849th. What a nice area.

Take care,
Bobby Thornton

I was Adam Bell's teammate from 1984-1985, plus I remember Adam from Tech School. Yes, he married a gal from inside plant, but I don't remember her name. Last I heard (about 5 years ago) he was working with Lou at a place called Desert Communications in Gilbert, AZ. This isn't confirmed, but it someone wants to follow up on this, please do and let us know.

Adam's wife was Dianne I think.

Lou was my Instructor for the Team Chief Acadamy back around 93 or 94 just before he retired and he said he, Adam, and some others were going to Pheonix to build cellular sites but I haven't herd from him sence.

I was at the 1836th from 89-92...worked for shaky Jake for a little while, then Marvin Johnson. Jim White and I got in trouble too many times...before heading to 1827th after that. Got out after 9 years active duty...

Adam Bell and Lou Leeser are both in Arizona as well as Bob Souders and myself (Rodney Waclaw)...and Pat Flynn until a couple years ago. We all worked for same company for years and have since all split off to different local companies doing our own thing. Adam & Lou work for "High Desert Communications", Bob Souders works for "Arizona West Builders & Comm", I work for "Network Infrastructure Corp"...all of our offices are in the east side of Phoenix metro (Gilbert, Mesa & Tempe). Pat Flynn is now out in California working for "Talley Comunications". Adam was married to a girl in inside plant...Diane, but divorced a few years later and re-married a great gal named Cheryl about 10 years ago. Rob Miller came out several years back and worked with us for a little while before heading back to Chicago area. I keep in touch with quite a few others as well...

Shoot me an email at rwaclaw@nicweb.com and I can get you in touch with any of them...cheers!

Wade,

It's Bob Souders; I was the 1836th from 89-92. I was your assistant TC when i first got there and took over the Team when you left.

Like Rodney said I been out in AZ for the past 12 years. I specialize in microwave install/maintenance now and still travel through out AZ, NM, UT, CO

Good to see more people from the 1836 online.

Later,
Bob
