Keg Dawg, eh? Are you a Beer Keg Craftsman? I'd imagine the only beer kegs out here are non-alcoholic.

I've been meaning to get with ya'll on one of my days off to see if you guys need an extra body. I'll give you guys a call or something when I'm ready. I'm still waking up at 0330 and it's not because I need to use the bathroom. I still need to fix my sleep schedule. haha

Well, looks like I am off to the "Deid" here in the fall. Anybody know the folks that are there now I would be replacing?

It depends on what unit you'd be assigned to.

I didn't know there were different Cable Dawg shops at Al Udeid... I'm unsure where I would be going then.... Hmmm

Nope there's only one, the 379th. There is one guy sometimes assigned to the CAOC and some E&I passing through. You'll be getting here during the cooler and rainy season. I lost your e-mail address. The shop is DSN is 318-437-2121 and mine is 318-437-2601. They are getting wifi here so bring a laptop and you may want to get a seperate hard drive for it for when they swipe it. There is usually several TVs, cell phones etc on the bulletin board for reasonable prices also. Depending on you rank you will be in the new real billets if you are doiing a 6 month tour. E-5 and above for now. Things change fast here though. T/Sgt McParland is the NCOIC.

There are 2 of us coming to the Deid in Aug/Sept from langley. we are both techs...no idea what were doign yet or where we are going exactly...

Let me know if any of you coming to the Deid need anything/info. Been here since April and things change quite frequently. I'm assigned to the CAOC, but try and get over to the Pound at least a couple times per rotation. If you shoot me an email w/questions or concerns, I will gladly give you the scoop. And always remember...."If you can't hang with the Wire Dawgs, stay on the porch with the pups"....HUA
