NEC 2000 / NEC 2400 - Lead PBX Technician - IA

We’re seeking an on-site Lead PBX Technician to perform installation and maintenance on NEC products like NEAX 2000, NEAX 2400, SV7000, ACD, Voicemail, etc for a client in Waterloo, IA.

The Lead PBX Technician on the NEAX 2000 / NEAX 2400 serves as the primary technical representative to the customer. This position will require installation, maintenance, modifications, testing, and the troubleshooting of voice and data products, which include Key Systems, PBX, Voice Mail, Call Center, and all other peripheral and ancillary equipment.

Some of the key responsibilities are as follows :

*Installation and maintenance of analog and digital voice and data telecommunications equipment including NEC PBX systems, key systems, and peripherals
*Complete MAC (Moves, Adds, and Changes) work orders
*Perform repair work orders reported by the end-user
*Ensure customer satisfaction by dealing professionally and effectively with all internal and external customers
*Provide rotating 24 hour on-call coverage

Skills Required :

*BS Degree or equivalent work experience, 6 plus years required
*Lead technical skills required
*Solid technical knowledge of NEC products
*Ability to troubleshoot at a complex level
*Excellent customer service skills
*Solid work ethic

- SV7000
- IPK
- AD-120
- ACD / OAI
- Global Navigator
- Wireless
