Telecommunications Analyst - Cisco

The client has a need to add a Telecommunications Analyst / Engineer with skills in Cisco voice (VoIP) products to their team. In this role the successful incumbent will be responsible for supporting Cisco products in a Call Center / Contact Center environment. This position requires solid skills on Cisco CallManager, Unity, and IPCC. A background in TDM PBX technologies, like Avaya or Nortel would be an asset. This is an onsite position working for an end-user company.

This key Telecommunications Analyst / Engineer position will leverage a well rounded background in telecommunications with Cisco technology and with a strong emphasis in VoIP telephony, including experience with PBX systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ Years working experience with Cisco VoIP IPCC, Unity and CallManager environment
5 years working with Telecommunications vendors or end-users in a support role
Proficient in all aspects of monitoring and troubleshooting
University Degree or equivalent experience
Team Player with good communications skills
Previous telecom experience in a similar capacity maintaining a end-user network preferred
Experience with Cisco routers, switches (LAN and WAN)
Expertise with VoIP gateways
Knowledge of TCP/IP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, telecom circuits from DS-O through OC-3
Knowledge of IP telephony
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Customer Service skills
PBX platforms such as Avaya or Nortel is a plus
CCVP preferred, but not required
