Need SL-100 help

I an a rock dumb cable dawg who needs to know where to find the serial number on a SL-100 Meridian switch. Our telephone guys don't know the answer either... The Serial number on my equipment listing does not match any information from NORTEL and they couldn't tell me where to find the Serial numebr either. HELP! (Don't ask why the telephone switch is on a cable dawg account.)

Typically (assuming you're looking for a CA/CRL s/n) there should 1"x3" label affixed (probably on and end panel) to the switch. It will be a printed white label like you'd find in your file plan...it's not the manufacturers label, but one the base ECO used when they uploaded the telephone switch in the AFEMS or it's equivalent back in the day.

Look for the tape from the last switch upgrade. It MIGHT be on there.
