We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Technical Supervisor
Location: Anniston, AL
Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the routing, mapping, testing, and turn
up of data and voice services and provides third level support for first and
second level technicians and management as directed. This will include, but not
be limited to: DS0, DS1, DS3, and OC3 - 12 level circuits, Frame Relay, ATM,
Email, DNS, DSL, MPLS, MLPP, IP/VPN, Point-to-Point, Point-to-Multipoint, local,
long distance, toll free, and voicemail applications. Coordinates order activity
with LECs, IXCs and CLECs, DeltaCom technicians, sales personnel, and customers.
Participates in OJT program to provide training and off site training program to
enhance job skills. Provides status reports as requested. Monitor work ques to
ensure all orders are worked by Due Date. Presides as the first level of
internal escalation for unresolved issues related to local, long distance,
dedicated, and switched service installations in the assigned region. Time Card
approver for assigned employees. Balances work load by assigning orders to work
ques. Enforces procedures and processes put in place by management. Identifies
areas where training is needed and coordinates with manager. Constant interfaces
with Management for the development of company policies and procedures. Assist
Manager in the recruiting and hiring of employees for the assigned team.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Highly experienced in most of the following systems, devices and/or programs:
Lucent Frame/ATM Switches, Nortel Firewall Shasta product, Extranet and Dial Up
VPN, CSU/DSU operations, routers made by Cisco, Adtran, Netopia, Linksys, ALL
Routing protocols, VoIP, MPLS, MLPP, Nortel DMS 100 and 250, Lucent 5e, NEC
phone systems, DACS’ and Multiplexers made by ALCATEL, TELLABS, ADTRAN, data
testing systems by Hekimian (REACT-2001), thoroughly familiar with email and DNS
operations, Local, Long Distance, Toll Free, and voicemail applications,
MicroSoft Exchange Platform as well as other email programs and MetaIP DNS
management, MicroSoft Office Suite, and MetaSolv Order Processing system, Remedy
Ticketing System, AS/400 and familiarity with UNIX/LINUX commands and
operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Prefer a 4-Year Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or Technical
School Certificate such as ECPI with advanced experience.
· 3 plus years related experience with extensive experience dealing with service
installation issues
· CCNA certification, NEC Certifications, Nortel DMS certifications, and Lucent
5E certifications a plus
