thanks in advance.

Hi. I was inside plant from 1974 until I retired in 1998. In looking back at my EPRs, our career field changed from 362X1 to 2E6X0 sometime between May 92 and May 94. (can't find my 1993 EPR). Seems to me all Wire Branch AFSCs changed at the same time. Hope this helps.

They did the change in steps. I was a 362x1, then became a 2e7x1, then inside and outside plant merged into 2e6x3.
I think the first change was 1992. The last one was about 1995.
Don't blink, cause they are all merging and changing again.

Thank you everyone. Any suggestions on where I would start to gain the Air Force document outlining this change? The reason I ask is because I went back into the reserves after a long break and need to get the documented change so I can have that in my records to indicate my level 5/7 achievement for promotions. I am going into a new AFSC and will not have my 5 level for another 6mos or so just in case most of you was wondering why I had this request.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you need to review both CFETPs. All duties and training will be outlined in these documents. Your training manager should have access to them. Good luck!
FYI - 2E6X2 is changing again to 3D1X7 (maint) in Feb 2010.

Yes, Thanks, That is what I needed. I also go in touch with a recruiter which had the old AFSC's with the new ones. Thanks again.

Hey Rok, I have the original 623 from when we crossed over. Let me dig it out and I should be able to give you the dates off of it.
