MSgt Jeffery A. Browning Retirement

On 31 July 2009, there will be a joint Retirement ceremony at 1000 hrs at the Moody AFB club. MSgt's Jeff and Marlene Browning will retire together after serving over 23 years. I have proudly been a WIREDAWG for my entire career and have worked with many of those who I see here at wiredawg.net. Thank you Mike Potter for creating this website where we can all keep in touch and communicate, you have always been a great leader and person. To all the WIRE and CABLE DAWGS who I have worked with for the past 23 years, Thanks for the memories and good times that we had. We are heading back home to Jacksonville Beach Florida and you can always find me surfing at the pier when there are waves. If you happen to be around the Valdosta Georgia area on 31 July stop by and celebrate with us.

Congratulations on your retirement!

I don't know if you remember but back when I was just a Senior Airman at Kadena I was tagged with a deployment that would have made me miss the birth of my daughter. You volunteered to go in my place. I have always remembered that and will always be grateful. Thank you.

Good luck with the new chapter of your life!

VR,

TSgt Budnik

Dont know if you remember me from Kadena, but it was nice working with you. I find out in a couple of weeks if they accepted mine. This old dawg has been beat enough, wish we could go back to the good ole days of the 362X1. Good luck to you and been a pleasure to know you.

TSgt Budnik,

I remember you well and I remember telling MSgt Manao that I was going to the desert and he told me that I didn't have to go. When I told him I want to go he thought I was crazy. I had been there many times before and always made it a great experience. When I took your slot, I thought I was going to be working on the base side but instead they put me in the CAOC. To this day I have never been challenged like I was there. I did very well because I had great people working with me and we saved lives. The reward of serving during that deployment will always standout in my military career. If you could read the LOE that I had from that time there you would be amazed like I was when you saw how much we were involved in. I remember telling you when I found out that you were able to stay back for the birth of your child "name it after me". I was joking of course and I remember you well. There are so many people that I have met through my career but I don't tend to forget anyone. All of those who I served with have made my career great and some have provided me with stories that will be told time and time again. I wish you the best with your career and thanks for dropping me a line. Take care E. Budnik.

Dennis,

I like the bike and hope to have one soon after our retirement. I wish you the best with your retirement and will always remember when you were on the outside of a house and said something that a SMSgt who was inside didn't like. It was real funny for most of the shop and is one that I will always remember. Take care Dennis.

Congratulations! I had a great time working for you at the Kun. Good luck in the future and if you're ever up for a lesson in washers let me know. I'm sure I could get Odo in for another round.

Great to hear from you! If I beat you and Odo at washers then you wouldn't want to play again so I let you win. It kept you coming back for more. I had some great times with you and the DAWGS at the Kun and I will always remember all of you. I will get plenty of practice with the washer game when I get back to Fl because everyone in the family has a set. The next time I will win and you can say I used to beat you at washers. I saw Odo was getting his switch book from another post here on the site. Make sure you keep in touch and anytime you’re in Jax beach Florida look me up to play a game of washers or just to have a beer. Thanks for all the good times and I wish you the best of luck with your career. I know you an Odo will do very well. Take care James.

GERFDAWG,

It's good to hear from you! We had some good times at PSAB and I went back there wanting to do it again. I didn't know they would grab me to work at the COAC until I got off the plane. High stress but high rewards as well. I'm glad to see you’re in sunny FL and enjoying life. If we cross paths again let it be in a bar. Take care GERF.

MSgt Lohr,

You were one of the best instructors that I met at the school house. I have been back through there many times and you stood out as one that cared. You understood your students level of knowledge and adjusted to meet their needs where required. Most just teach the material but you ensure everyone gets it. I do have one question for you, who do I need to contact to get copies of all my certificates. My house was flooded the first week of April and we lost almost everything. The only things I got to save were some personnel items and some cloths. All of my awards and certificates were under water. I have my family and that’s what matters most so I don't let the bad stuff bother me. I was renting so that was one of the positive things and the other is my attitude about starting over. Please just let me know who to contact at the school house to ask about my certificates. I thank you for what you’re doing and you’re making a positive impact in a lot of lives. Don't ever change!

Mike,

Thank you for being the role model for all to follow as a leader and as a person. You earned the respect of all the Wire Branch while at Ramstein. I learned and have used management skills from you that have helped me throughout my career. This site that you have created is just one of the things that make you great. For those who have had the opportunity to serve alongside you, we know what you’re brought to the table and you have our deepest RESPECT. Thank you for the mentoring and good times that we shared. Keep up the good work with this webpage.

Sincerely
MSgt Jeffery A. Browning "SurfRat"
