AFI 33-111 Para 14 HELP!!

I was curious if there was anyone out there who could provide a copy of thier installtion policy on collect calls. Since this careerfield merge we have had some disputes in our unit as to who is responsible for what. and now my shop needs to come up with a policy letter by tommorow!! Don't ask me why we don't have on one file now, it's Pope. The last known paper record of anything is from the preparation for Y2K. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

No such animal at most bases, and if there is a policy letter it has to come from the Wing Commander.

I'm finding this out, but our unit's QA inspection require's us to have one on file. So now I need to get one written and signed by our wing CC by tommorow. I love my new job!!

A2.3.26. Has the installation commander established local policy for handling incoming official collect calls?

2 prong attack
1. Elevate your concern to your flight leadership, if you have a letter (no matter how old) if it hasn't been rescinded by subsequent WG CC, it's still valid. Check w/ the WG CC secretary of the admin staff to see if there is an updated letter.

2. Take the old letter, brush off the dust and start it on its long journey for signature, document the letter in your records. You made the effort to correct the discrepancy before the inspection. The leadership through to the wing king, will decide if a policy letter needs to be updated or written.

It's the installation commander's policy, not your shop's.
