Senior Airman Tre Porfirio

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE – Senior Airman Tre Porfirio, the 88th Communication Squadron voice network systems technician wounded in action one year ago in Afghanistan and who underwent advanced surgery, died Sunday morning, the base announced Tuesday.

Porfirio passed away while visiting friends over the Thanksgiving holiday in Sikeston, Mo. He was 22.
