Passing of Tsgt Horace Smith

I was notified by e-mail of Horace Smith's passing on Thursday, December 5, 2011. Funeral services were held in Austin Texas on Saturday, December 7, 2011. Horace's remains were then shipped to Arkansas for interment in the family's plot.

On Sunday, 12/8/2011, at 1:30pm, I attended a memorial for Horace in LaVerne, CA, the community where he lived, held by local family members and attended by family and friends. Horace was loved and respected by all.

Horace's last duty assignment was in the Cable Installation section, Wire Branch, 1835 EIS, Norton AFB, CA, where he retired from active duty in 1987. He then worked for Northrop Gruman Aerospace, on the B-2 Bomber program until his retirement there.

Horace was born 10/5/1943 and passed on 12/29/2011. May his soul rest in peace.
