Dan Schaeffer! Ya Old Fart! We had similar problems with people wanting to climb while I was at Kapaun. Other units around Europe were after us to train them for no real apparent reason. We came up with a brilliant solution to get them off our back.. By reg, only school trained personnel can climb, soooooo tell them to call the school...that usually stops them. If not, you can use another trick, say "Sure" then pull out the body belt, harness, and a tool bag that weights about 100 lbs. say when they climb they have to have it.. :)))) They'll change their tune.
