Try this...
Assuming you are bringing your switch up in PBX (GEN/SYS Level), check the STAR DCT to make sure CNF is in the star code table (usually the 8th entry), if it is not add it. All this prgramming is for preset conference with meet-me capabilities, so I hope this helps you. The following is what you'll need to do for programming of the conference...Dave
1. ADM> conf (return)
2. CONTROL +N to find the next open Conference Number
CONTROL +B to go back to the previous Conference Number
3. ADM/CONF> conf=# (# = the number of the conference you are programming)
Example: conf=17
4. ADM/CONF> name= (enter the name you wish to name the conference)
Example: name=TEST
5. ADM/CONF> mem= (enter the number of users in the conference) NOTE: ALWAYS ADD TWO TO THE TOTAL NUMBER OF USERS YOU NEED, TO ACCOUNT FOR THE INITIATOR (automatically added by the Red-Comm switch) AND MEET-ME (allows any user to re-join the conference)
Example: mem=7 (5 users, 1 initiator, 1 meet-me)
6. ADM/CONF> ent= (enter the position number to start adding your members)
Example: ent=2 (this will position you at entry number two)
7. ADM/CONF> dig= (enter the station number of the AMP channel, Radio channel, or telephone you are going to conference with)
Example: dig=5001
8. ADM/CONF> cos= (enter the class of services) NOTE: For our purposes, ANNO, SUPER and DIAL are ON for all regular station numbers. The initiator and meet-me will automatically be set. (You may or may not need to do this step, depending on what each entry already has turned on)
Example: cos =dial
REPEAT STEPS 9-10 for each member
9. You will need to manually input the Meet-Me member. Always put this as the last member of the conference.
Example: to enter Meet-Me to entry number 6
ent=6
dig=meet_me
10. ADM/CONF> ex:ac (to exit and activate changes)
To initiate pick up a phone and dial *8*1# (Assuming CNF is your 8th entry in the star dial code table and the conference your programmed is conference #1). For an individual to join after the conference is initiated all they would dial is the *8*1#.
