I'm not afraid of you like every one else, I'm crazier than you are. Come back and work at Scott Kev, the old man is finally retiring. 2 Aug, is Mike Nelson's last day of work.
40 years at this place, most people can't handle two.
I think it must have been all of those great Smsgt types that have been around here the past few years that kept him so motivated and dedicated to Scott. Any way, If you know the old guy, drop him a line or an e-mail and wish him well.

Good to hear old Nelson is finally getting smart and getting out of there. Things just weren't the same after his pack of civilian buddies up and retired on him.

I can't see how he made it, with all the crazy Inside Plant Airmen & NCOs that were even nuttier. Looking back on my time there, I think he was the only sane one in the shop!

You're right about the 2 years though, after 1 & half I was ready to get outta the service because of that shop. I've told people the stories about that place and they can't believe it was a semi-functioning shop, let alone the military.

Forget that place though, you couldn't drag me back there with a team of wild horses!
