I am looking for the history of the "Wire Dawg" and when the coin challenge started for the dawgs. We recently presented CMSAF#8 Sam Parrish an honorary "Wire Dawg" coin (all Canon's of the coin honored). Being a history buff, he wanted to know the history of the coin. Embarrasingly, not one "Wire Dawg" knew the history of the coin or where the term " Wire Dawg" originated.
